Oh Hi there

I'm Erin, allow me to introduce myself

I am the founder and Creative Director at Pixel Berri Creative. I am a graphic designer, makeup artist, tiny kitten foster, lover of music, singing, water colour painting, cake decorating, photoshop and pretty much anything that requires creativity. If I’m honest I probably have too many interests but hey better too many than none at all, well that’s what I tell myself anyway. 

 

I graduated from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2007 and have been working in the design industry ever since.  I have always wanted to own a business and in September 2011 Pixel Berri was born. I have learned so much over the years and am so grateful for the journey that has brought me to this point, to you. I am a firm believer in quality over quantity, I never wanted Pixel Berri to be nor do I ever want it to be a “sausage factory” type studio. We are a small bespoke studio that listens to you, even if you say you do not know what you want, we will find a way to bring your project to life. We see things differently, we think outside the box and are not limited to the immediate frame in front of us, we see the bigger picture and the growth potential of every project. 

 

Our business is making your business look good! This is the most simple way of describing what we do but don’t be fooled this is not just another vapid quote with no substance, it means so much more than just adding “frills”. We make your business stand out, look professional, we help you send all the right messages with strategy and branding. By using well thought out, well executed branded materials, shows that you take your business seriously and value your products and services enough to invest in your business. 

 

The phrase “never judge a book by its cover” comes to mind, only everyone judges a book by its cover anyway, so why not make yours unforgettable!

WHY HIRE A PROFESSIONAL? 

 

1.  You don’t have the time 

In this day and age everyone is constantly busy, we all have a lot on our plates and Business owners are no exception. For the most part the Businesses look and marketing is forgotten about and therefore is not made a priority. This is a big mistake that most businesses don’t realise they are making. Hiring a professional designer means that these important parts of your business are taken care of without taking time away from your already hectic schedule.

 

 

2.  You can’t afford not to

Learning how to use page layout or image editing software will cost hours of your valuable time not to mention the years of experience and knowledge it takes to put everything together in a way that looks good and makes sense. If this is not your core designation then your time is being wasted and could be used more productively elsewhere.  If you could pay a designer a quarter of what it would cost you in your valuable time to learn all you need to but have chosen not to, then you have not chosen wisely.

Every business needs to stand out, in a small community it may be enough to show up on a basic internet search or in a local phone book, however if you are in a highly saturated market you need to stand out in a professional way.  You don’t want to do that with clip art or generic images that have been used by your competitors. This is where the well thought out, well executed, professional marketing materials a professional can provide become invaluable.
